5pm to 9pm this Friday March 4th Guildhall School have a session discussing the relationship between jazz musicians and their audience. Main speaker is trombonist
Gail Brand, who will be presenting her research. There will be a panel session with speakers including John Cumming of Serious and Helen Mayhew of JazzFM. There's also a performance with GSMD jazz students featuring
Tim Garland.
It's the first event in a Guildhall series "Understanding Audiences," a new resarch initiative which got under way last year. It's free but attenders need to send an email - here are the
