Hot news from the Caribbean on a cold day. This comes via Fran Hardcastle from the Facebook page of the St Lucia Tourist Board.Bad Ass Brass will be performing at the 2011 Saint Lucia Jazz Festival. They are the winners of a comptition searching for a UK jazz act.
The eight piece band performed to a sell out audience at Cheltenham Jazz Festival earlier this year and one of their first gigs was supporting Ray Gelato at Ronnie Scotts. They've released their debut album this month, (it's a lively band,and the arrangements are punchy, cheerful, it's a feel good album!).
