Mango's was great last week. Shout out to Dj Lizito he always does a great job keeping the dance floor packed. This Saturday 8/14/10 Mango's turns BLUE when the Goddesses of Hypnotiq pay us a visit. Also we welcome Dj JM All Star for the first time!! As always doors open at 10PM Ladies are FREE B4 10:30PM/$5 after and Guys are $10 all night.

Difference between a normal and a good dizi

One of the usual questions we get from customers is 'What is the difference between a cheap and expensive dizi?"

Well, besides the difference in price, there is a difference in the ease of blowing, the intonation, pitching and volume produced.

But most importantly, there is a difference in the tone of the instrument. A good dizi should sound rich and bright as compared to a lesser dizi that sounds thin and dull.

We did a test and put 3 of our best model of dizis together in video so that you can hear how they sound compared to one another.

The Lee Wilson Movement Teams with Hypnotiq

The blue goodness in a bottle and The Lee Wilson Movement are teaming up for two amazing events. Mango's Latin Dance Party which is promoted and hosted every Saturday by Lee Wilson & El Kan Show 1330am will turn blue this Saturday. Hypnotiq Models will be in the building giving away samples of "The Silver Bullet" which is Hypnotiq and Patron Silver, among other mixes they have created.

Mango's is held inside of The Milky Way Lounge 284 Amory St Jamaica Plain, MA (inside Brewery Place and two blocks from Stony Brook T Station. The Lee Wilson Movement & Hypnotiq will also be teaming up for a live show Friday Sept 10, 2010. Lee Wilson will take the stage with his live band to perform music from his album "She's The Girl" which available now on itunes & Amazon.
